Yep I'm still alive... long time no talk, huh?

Sorry for my absence as of late, I took what felt like a needed break from cosplay, mainly to gather my self esteem back... kinda went through a lack of confidence in my skills and physical appearance. Not gonna lie. But I figured I should get over myself, because I'm really not out to impress anyone, just to make myself happy.

So, while I'm still trying to get a stronger grip on my confidence, I'm definitely much better, mostly thanks to my friends, co-workers and my more than fantastic boyfriend. <3

And also, I went through a LOT of changes at work... in January, I left my position at Studio Disney 365 and transferred to Guest Relations. So among the things I now do, I work in City Hall, lost and found, the information stations in both parks, Blue Sky Cellar, and I'm also a tour guide for the Welcome to the Disneyland Resort tour. So, really, it's an amazing job and I've never been happier at what I do.

Though this summer will be an interesting one and will probably swallow me up whole. AX is looking super iffy for me, but I WILL be going to Comic Con this year! First up, though, Fanime!!

My cosplay list as follows:

-Friday: Aeris (never gonna stop wearing this I swear lol)
-Saturday: Korra (Legend of Korra)
-Sunday : Belle (blue peasant dress), Disney Designer Dress Belle (B&W Ball)
-Monday: not sure. Probably Korra again.

Nothing too elaborate, but should be a supremely fun weekend nonetheless :]

It's peak season at work, meaning, if we're available, we get worked to every last available minute that's legally possible. Since I have no other obligations (school, family, etc.,), I've been working 45+ hours, six days a week.

That leaves me virtually no time for myself, and that includes cosplay. As well as con time. I didn't get the entire weekend of for Anime Expo this year off. I will be running around for a bit throughout the weekend, and the only day I'll really be there will be Friday.

This also means no cosplay for me: I just don't have the time to fix anything up or the energy to get ready into a costume. So, I'm just going to stalk my friends around in normal clothing and take photos of them.

I do need the pay, though, because my little car is on the verge of dying again, and fixing it is costing me an arm and a leg and then some, so right now, working on new stuff is kind of on the back of my mind.

I know some of you are going to AM2, if you have the time, drop by Downtown Disney and say hi to me!

I hope everyone has a blast at this year's AX, and I hope to see some of you guys out at Comic Con (no way I'm missing that!!).

Wow I haven't really been up here in a while o.o

I'm going to try to update around here more, now that I actually have my laptop, woot! I just need to actually, you know, go take some photos and edit them and stuff haha.

Work is keeping me busy as hell, so yes, progress will be slow. That goes for cosplay as well: I'm definitely not giving up the hobby because I have too many friends that I love seeing and hanging out with at cons, but yeah, I won't be cranking out too many costumes.

And on that topic, and contradicting as it sounds, I am open for commissions, because I have a LOT of things to pay for, and these could help me out. I'm not the most skilled seamstress, so my prices won't be too high, so please let me know if anyone is interested :]

On to other things:

Fanime was a blast. I know I didn't even put up who I was going as, but I was there, as Vanille and Belle. The con was a lot of fun, even the rain! I feel like I didn't get to spend too much time with some people, and I hope I can make it up at AX, though I'll hardly be there the whole weekend T_T

I only requested two days off for AX, because that weekend is the busiest weekend at work, so I wasn't going to even try asking for it all off. I did request to get off work at a certain time. Again, nothing is solid, so we'll see, but I do hope to be there :]

And Comic Con!! I'll be there for two days only, and I'm so excited, and Christopher is actually coming with me, oh man I can't wait!!

And that's about it for now lol. I still log on and check stuff, and I'll try to load more things in due time.

Keep them in your thoughts. Amazingly, so far the highest death count I've been able to find anywhere has been 5. While I'd rather those five not be lost, considering a whole freakin' airport is underwater, that is amazing....The count has hit the hundreds. Ughhh this is terrible.

I really, really hope that doesn't rise...

I got up at 8:30am.

Comic Con tickets went on sale at 9am.

It's 1:27pm.

I myself never saw the information page due to crappy internet.

Instead, the fantastic Mlarad and fuzzycotton delve into the frustration of TicketLeap's "Over Capacity" page to get me and my boyfriend two badges for Friday and Saturday, with musicpro20 manning the stations to see if any 4 day badges just, might just, be on sale.

So thanks to them, I'm going to Comic Con.
