So my plans for Fanime Con this year flopped brilliantly.

My friends are unable to go, as well as my dad. No way am I driving six hours by myself up to Northern California.

Aside from that, my job sucks, and when in the last few weeks I've been getting virtually no hours (yeah, like I don't have things to pay off, huh?), they cannot give me the Memorial Day weekend off. I get MORE hours on a weekend I had requested off.

So, though it makes me really disappointed, angry, and sad, I will have to call off my trip to Fanime this year.

I really had my heart set on this con because, well, it was the FIRST con I went to. I loved it a lot, everyone was so nice, and I had been hoping to take my friends this time with me.

This is the second time I had to call off plans to a con (I so wanted to go to Anime LA last winter, but, again, my job was unable to give me a weekend off when they so rarely schedule me on weekends). So, tonight, at work, I am putting in my request for 4th of July weekend for AX. If they don't give it to me.... oooh, there's gonna be a very angry Witchy-witch at Barnes and Nobles...

So for those who are going, once again, have fun for me! Especially Maggifan: I was looking forward to hanging out with you a bit
